The purpose of the International Education Committee is to:

Advise the College on international programs efforts and needs.

Encourage the development of international projects and linkages.

Foster College curricula that include international dimensions.

Facilitate the visits of international experts, faculty, and consultants.

Encourage College as well as community outreach events of cross-cultural interest.

Encourage attendance at internationally-oriented seminars and conferences.
The International Education Committee consists of the following voting members.
Members:
- Vice president of student affairs (standing member)
- Dean of BEECH (standing member)
- Staff of the office of international programs (chair and standing members)
- One staff member from the office of student life and multicultural student affairs (standing member)
- One student appointed by ASCC (one-year appointment)
- One international student (visa holder) appointed by the office of international programs (one-year appointment)
- One faculty member from each of the five instructional units appointed by the vice president of instruction (two-year appointments)
- Two community members (two-year appointments)
- One administrative employee (Student Affairs, Instruction, or Administrative Services) appointed by the appropriate vice president (one-year appointment)
- One classified employee appointed by the associate vice president of human resources (one-year appointment)
