200.000 ADMINISTRATIVE POLICIES and PROCEDURES

1. Policy Statement
The College shall maintain and implement a transparent process for regular and systematic review, revision, and creation of administrative policies and procedures. This process shall provide opportunities for shared governance and collaboration throughout the College community. All administrative policies and procedures must align with the College’s equity-centered strategic plan, core values, mission, and vision and be adopted by the President’s Executive Cabinet.

The College’s policies and procedures must be reviewed at least once every five years, unless a more frequent review of a specific policy is required by law.

2. Reason for Policy

Regular reviews ensure that policies
• remain relevant and effective.
• identify and address any compliance gaps.
• help streamline processes and eliminate unnecessary bureaucracy.
• help identify and mitigate potential risks.
• ensures consistency in policy interpretation and application across the organization.

This procedure applies to the entire campus community.
