We are excited that you are thinking about enrolling at Clark College. The enrollment process does vary, depending on what educational experience you have. Discover what kind of student you are and find out the first steps of your educational path.
First-Time College Student
First-time college students are new students who have had no previous college experience. Though many first-time college students are students who have recently graduated from high school, any new student who has no college experience belongs in this category.

Apply either online at our Admissions webpage.

Apply for Financial Aid
Fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Washington Application for State Financial Aid (WASFA) online. More funding options can be found on our Financial Aid webpage. -
Activate Your Online Student Account
Visit the MyClark@ctcLink webpage and follow the ctcLink account instructions to activate your account. -
Meet with an Enrollment Navigator
Review your remaining enrollment requirements with an Entry Services staff member.
Email start@clark.edu to schedule an appointment. -

Returning to study at Clark College
We have converted to a new software system called ctcLink. Returning students are not required to pay the admissions application fee. Follow these steps to re-activate your student account and update your information.
Steps to Enroll:-
Update Your Information
If it has been:
- longer than (6) years since you last attend Clark College, complete a new Admissions
Application.
- all other returning students complete the Student Update Form form.
Clark College has moved to a new student operating system called ctcLink. All students were issued new ID numbers also know as a ctcLink ID or EMPL ID. You will recieve your new ctcLink ID number once yoor Admission Application or Student Update form has been processed. - longer than (6) years since you last attend Clark College, complete a new Admissions

Transferring from another college
Transfer students are those who have previous college experience but have not attended Clark.
Steps to Enroll:1. Apply for Admissions
Apply online at our Admissions webpage.

2. Submit College Transcripts
Send official transcripts from other colleges to enroll@clark.edu or by postal mail to:

Please expect approximately 6-8 weeks for official transcripts to be evaluated.
Unofficial transcripts may be used for placement and Advising purposes while waiting on your official transcript evaluation.
3. Apply for Financial Aid

7. Meet with an Advisor
Plan your classes and review incoming credits with an Academic Advisor. Visit our Advisor Contact Information page or email advising@clark.edu to schedule an appointment with your Academic Advisor.
8. Register for Classes
Register for classes online through your MyClark@ctcLink student homepage or ctcLink Mobile App.

Running Start Student
Running Start students are current high school students who are looking to get an early start on their college education. Students interested in the Running Start program must first check with their High School Counselor to see whether they are eligible. The steps to enroll and more information can be found on our Running Start webpage.

English as a Second Language (ESL) Student
ESL students are immigrants or refugees who want to become fluent in reading, writing,
listening, and speaking English.
If you are visiting on a student, au pair/exchange, or tourist VISA (F-1, M-1, J-1,
B-1 or B-2), please see the International Office.
Clark College does not require students who are taking ESL classes to provide Social
Security Numbers, proof of citizenship, or to identify their national origin.

High School Diploma and GED Preparation Student
High School Diploma and GED Preparation students are students taking Career and Academic Preparation (CAP) classes toward a high school diploma or for GED test preparation.
Students between the ages of 16-18 without a high school diploma or GED need a signed release form from their home high school or school district office.
