808.000 - Administrative Policies and Procedures Committee
The Administrative Policies and Procedures Committee (APPC) is responsible for reviewing all administrative policies and procedures that are developed, updated, or rescinded as part of the College’s required review process outlined in Policy 200.001 Administrative Policies and Procedures Process. The Administrative Policies and Procedures Committee is an advisory body to the President’s Executive Cabinet. The Executive Cabinet is the official policy approving body of the College.
The committee shall meet as frequently as is necessary to efficiently manage the process of reviewing policies and procedures. The minimum meeting schedule is once per month during the Fall, Winter, and Spring Quarters.

STANDING MEMBERS:
- Director of Labor and Compliance in Human Resources (chair: facilitation of meetings and coordination of agendas)
- The Associate Vice President of Planning and Effectiveness or the Accreditation Liaison Officer (vice chair: ensures policies align with accreditation process)
APPOINTED MEMBERS WHO REPRESENT THEIR DIVISIONS OR ORGANIZATIONS:
- One representative from Operations (appointed by Vice President of Operations)
- One representative from Instruction (appointed by Vice President of Instruction)
- One representative from Student Affairs (appointed by Vice President of Student Affairs)
- One representative from Information Technology Services (appointed by Vice President of Information Technology)
- One representative from the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (appointed by Vice President of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion)
- One student representative (appointed by ASCC)
- One WPEA representative (appointed by WPEA)
- One AHE representative (appointed by AHE)
- One member-at-large (appointed by the President of the College)
The APPC will also be provided non-voting clerical and administrative support, currently by the Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Operations.
Members serve two-year terms and can be reappointed to serve consecutive terms. Standing members do not have term limits.
