Student Publications
The Iceburg
An annual anthology of student comics featuring writing and art produced by Clark students and alumni, The Iceburg was started in 2018. It supports students in creating the annual publication and an event to showcase the final production, which brings professional comic artists and publishers to Clark College.
Phoenix
Phoenix is an award-winning art publication fueled by the creativity and contributions of Clark students. The annual effort provides students with the opportunity to gain valuable skills in developing a professional publication. A mix of volunteers and paid student staff work together to produce the magazine every spring. Before 2022, Clark College featured art and literature in a single magazine, Phoenix, which now focuses strictly on art.
The Swift
Dreaming of seeing your name in print? Anxious to show off your artistic and literary abilities? The Swift, Clark's art and literary magazine, is funded by ASCC to encourage the creative efforts of Clark College students. The magazine is open to submissions from all Clark College students and considers 2D and 3D artwork, poetry, and short fiction for publication. Staff members practice budgeting, marketing, editing, writing, judging, and layout skills. Volunteers are welcome and some paid student staff positions are available.
