| We have our 12x12 furnished bedroom and closet available mid-late September 2024. We can be a little flexible if you need earlier. We just run $900/m including utilities and WiFi, maid service and yard service.
We will likely have a 2nd room available November-December as well. Husband and wife professionals have rented 3 of our fully furnished rooms to 18-25 year old single guys the last 12 years. It has been a great experience for all parties. You will feel a sense of community and belonging here. We rent to 1st time move outs, students, established wage earners, fully independent, still trying to figure it all out, introverts and extroverts. This is a safe place to be yourself or even find yourself. Great place to get yourself established, pay off debt or save up money. We are a very clean, quiet and relaxed home. We live in a clean, upscale 6 bedroom home in one of Vancouver’s best East side neighborhoods close to all the restaurants and stores that you could want. | Hi We have 4 rooms open in our substance free LGBTQIA student only housing.
The Village is a Substance Free, Quiet, LGBTQ+ friendly Student only housing community near Peninsula Park Community Center (and pool) in Piedmont, Portland, that aspires to create a space where personal responsibility blends with responsibility toward others and community. We are a 5 bedroom 2 bathroom two story Classic Portland style home with high cielings on the main floor for excellent light and ambiance. We have furnished 3 bedrooms upstairs and 2 on the main floor, with one full bathroom on each floor. Each bedroom is different and all are furnished with beds, storage, in their own style (one has airplane seats!). There is ample space to commune with housemates in the dining, living, and kitchen spaces which are shared by housemates. New kitchen appliances and cabinets with tile and wood flooring make this an upscale living situation. The front hall is a place where the Owner may provide periodic donations of clothing for students to use. Clothes are for personal use, not sale. Occasionally the Owner may also donate binders, paper, arts and craft supplies, and other school supplies in the linen closet past the front hall. Monthly room rates are $500 per month per student for the double including utilities, to $800 per month including utilities for the singles, $1000 per month for the single with attached office. The front yard has been landscaped and planted with food that is available for students with upkeep and harvesting the responsibility of the occupants. There is also a shared front yard space and large front deck, as well as a back pantry with a bike that can be shared with all the students (as long as the bike is kept up). Please understand that completing school is the focus of our community, and that means The Village is not a place for parties, noisy residents, and after hour guests - it is a place for quiet studying and living without the distractions of substances or noise. No bias of marginalized communities will be tolerated. No minors are permitted on the property and students must provide with of enrollment in accredited college or university or trade schools - minimum halftime enrollment in school. My home is conveniently located for commuters, 20 minutes north and you're in Longview, 15 minutes south, and you're in Salmon Creek. Close to the city, but a little more peaceful.
