The Associated Students of Clark College (ASCC) Student Government advocates and represents the students of Clark College by serving as the liaison between students and faculty, staff, administration, and the community. By involving students at the college they seek to enhance the community through leadership, respect for difference, engagement and service.

The ASCC Student Government is recognized by the Board of Trustees as the sole representative body of Clark College students. It is the responsibility of the ASCC Student Government to:

ASCC President 

Andrea Gonzalez

As ASCC President, my mission is to create a community that embraces all Clark students whether they are remote, hybrid, in-person, or late night students. I strive to be the voice for those who feel they don’t have one. I am a current Running Start student working towards an Associates degree in political science. In my free time I like to try different coffee shops, and work on resources for my non-profit.

Alexis Maupin

As ASCC Vice President, my goal is to help students feel seen, supported, and included in every step of their college journey. I work to create opportunities for involvement, build community, and make sure student voices are part of important decisions. I’m studying Web Development at Clark College and plan to continue my education in cybersecurity. In my free time, I enjoy painting, hiking, reading, and spending time with my family.

ASCC Finance Director

As ASCC Finance Director, I oversee the annual allocation of the Services & Activities Fee, working to ensure students have access to a wide range of programs, services, and involvement opportunities. My goal is to help create an engaging campus community where students can develop leadership skills, build relationships, and make the most of their college experience. I am currently studying Mechanical Engineering and am a member of the Clark College Women’s Soccer team. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.

As the ASCC Student Relations & Promotions Coordinator, my goal is to help students stay informed about the many events, resources, clubs, and opportunities available at Clark College. I am passionate about building community and creating connections that help students feel welcomed and supported throughout their college experience. I am currently in my third year at Clark College and am pursuing an Associate of Science degree with plans to transfer to a four-year university to study Mechanical Engineering. In my free time, I enjoy journaling, baking, trying new coffee shops, traveling, thrifting, crocheting, taking walks, and exploring creative projects such as 3D modeling.

Returning to my role as ASCC Club Coordinator, I am committed to fostering stronger student connections and supporting clubs in every possible way. My goal is to enhance the club experience for all at the college, helping everyone discover their own sense of community. Currently, I am in my third year at Clark, working toward a transfer degree. I am passionate about photography, fantasy writing, exploring, and art.

ASCC Civics & Sustainability Coordinator

As your ASCC Civics and Sustainability Director, it is my role to promote civic engagement and environmental sustainability among students at Clark. As we push ourselves to advance as a higher education institution, these values help to make Clark students into upstanding citizens. I hope to represent you with professionalism and an unwavering commitment to the values of our school; providing our student body with the resources they need to grow into better versions of themselves. I am presently enrolled in my second year of Running Start and am working toward an Associates for transfer to a four-year university. In my free time I enjoy swimming, reading, and studying American institutions and democracy. I am so honored to serve as your Civics and Sustainability Director for the ‘26-’27 academic year.
