Returning faculty advisor training is offered for all faculty who have previously completed a faculty advisor training or who have completed the advising component of the Student Advocacy Seminar. This training will briefly review essential advising technology and resources, provide Student Affairs updates, cover educational plans, provide updates on program requirements, and delve into additional detail on advising topics.

Annual training is required to be eligible for the faculty advising stipend.

Topics will include contact and referral information, advising technologies, educational plans, strategies for working with students in academic difficulties, advising documentation, and other advising related topics.

Annual training is required to be eligible for the faculty advising stipend.

This is a required training session for all 1st year tenure-track faculty members to provide a more in-depth step-by-step overview of the policies, procedures and best practices of the Tenure Review Process. It will be an informal discussion with a focus on examples of suggested templates, required documentation and quarterly submissions. The topics of this discussion is designed to provide you with effective tools and strategies to efficiently prepare for the expectations of an eight quarter process that includes contractual components and strict timelines. Beginning Wednesday, September 24, faculty consent is required to register in all regular-start, online and hybrid fall classes even if seats are available.

Students may register for open late-start classes without faculty consent in person with photo ID at the Enrollment Services Office.

Friday, September 26, 2014
Friday, September 26 is the last day students may drop regular-start, online and hybrid classes for a 100% refund of tuition and fees.

Students may drop classes in person at the Enrollment Services Office with photo ID until 4:30 p.m. Students may drop classes online through Web Registration until 11:30 p.m.
