Join us for this special presentation with live music and a book signing!

In his recent publication, Parfait Bassale, M.A., lays down the foundation for the Story and Song Centered Pedagogy (SSCP) as a viable approach to increasing empathy in the classroom. He makes the case that music and storytelling by virtue of being effective communication tools and mood thermostats, can influence behavior. As such, they are together, a very potent tool in the educators toolbox. Come learn about this pedagogy and enjoy some live music as Parfait presents his contribution to the field of Peace Education by repositioning empathy as a cornerstone for transformational peace building.

This event is free and open to the community.
