Tutoring Tip of the Week #7
What can a tutor do for me? Why would I go to tutoring? I don’t need tutoring. Common questions and common thoughts. What if you learned that tutoring really IS for you? Tutoring is for everyone! Reframing tutoring as a RESOURCE not REMEDIATION is critical in a college setting. Proactive and engaged students typically view tutoring as a necessary resource for staying on track and producing their best work in college. Making sure to have set times to visit each week, utilizing the space and expertise to help you work through assignments, running through final projects, test prep, and papers with tutors helps make sure you are producing your best work and putting in optimal effort. Visit a tutoring center below today:
• Accounting & Business Center, Applied Arts 4, Room 106
• Language & Writing Center, Hawkins Hall, Room 102
