Exceptional Administrative-Exempt Awards

We are excited to open nominations for the Exceptional Clark College Administrative-Exempt Award. This award honors an exempt staff member who contributes significantly to building a positive climate and an inclusive environment, and to improving the quality of life at Clark College.
Submit nominations by completing the online Nomination Form no later than 5:00 p.m.
on Friday, June 12, 2025.

Nominations will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Exemplary Work Performance
- Demonstrates excellence in work performance
- Makes a significant impact on the College (provide examples of involvement, attitude, helpfulness, etc.)
- Contributes to and demonstrates a commitment to the College’s mission and core values
- Initiative and Collaboration
- Engages positively with community partners, including faculty, staff, students, and the public
- Demonstrates respect for coworkers and students
- Notable Achievements or Contributions to the College Community
- Initiates or actively participates in projects that improve the college community
- Serves in leadership roles with campus groups, committees, or external college partners
- Demonstrates consistent interest in and active support of diversity
- Encourages interaction among groups with different perspectives, cultures, and backgrounds
Award Details
The recipient of this award will receive:
- A glass plaque
- A monetary award of $1,000
The award is funded through a donor’s contribution to the Clark College Foundation and will be presented on Opening Day before the beginning of the fall quarter.
Eligibility Requirements
Nominees must:
- Be a current full-time administrative-exempt employee
- Have served in their current position for more than twelve (12) months
Not Eligible:
- Members of the President’s Executive Cabinet
