Tutoring Tip of the Week #7
This week holds President’s Day on Monday, February 16th. This is a great time to remind you that Tutoring Services is closed on any day when classes are not held (holidays, faculty workdays, inclement weather closures, etc.) and as such we will not be open on Monday the 16th. When in doubt, you can always view our locations and schedule on the Tutoring Webpage. You will find all our locations, hours, live schedules, Zoom links, workshops, and events!
"Zootopia 2" Family Movie Night, March 5th, 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. in Gaiser Student Center
The adventure continues in Zootopia 2! Join us for a family-friendly movie night featuring mini sandwiches, snacks, drinks, and fun surprises. Bring your favorite people, settle in, and enjoy a night of animated fun together.

International Day Event, February 26th, 10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. in Gaiser Student Center
International Day is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. Drop in for international food sampling, henna tattoos, live music & more!
Tibetan Sand Mandala Event, February 23rd- 27th at the Cannell Library
Join us in the Clark College Library as we welcome a group of Tibetan Buddhist monks from South India who will be visiting to construct a Tibetan Sand Mandala, which can be appreciated simply as a piece of "time-based art."
The creation of a Sand Mandala is meant to create a profound experience of Compassion and believed to radiate out over an entire region, blessing the environment and the beings therein, as an effort for world peace.
This is a free event & open to the community!
DSHS Pop-Up, February 19th, 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. in the Basic Needs Hub
Come into the Basic Needs Hub to meet with DSHS! You can complete your SNAP application and interview, drop off paperwork, make changes to an existing case, and more!

Discounted Fitness Center Passes
Currently enrolled students pay $10.00 / quarter to work out in the Clark College Fitness Center. Students take their photo ID to the Cashiers Office in Gaiser Hall to pay. Then, go to the Fitness Center in O'Connell Sports Complex (OSC). While supplies last.
Students who are currently enrolled in Physical Education, HPE 266 or HPE 258 (Fitness Wellness) can use the fitness center free for that quarter. Fitness Center hours and information.

RAVE Guardian – Campus Safety App

Get a Free C-Tran Bus Pass and a Free Clark College Student ID through the Bookstore. Simply bring a valid photo ID.Other Important Information

Always verify the legitimacy of requests for personal information, even if they seem to come from Clark College. If you receive an email, text, or call asking for sensitive details:
- Pause before responding.
- Contact the Clark College Helpdesk at (360) 992-2425 or helpdesk@clark.edu to confirm the request.
Scammers may pose as Clark College or state employees to steal your personal information. Stay vigilant and protect yourself from fraud. Stay safe—think before you share!
Need to Use a Microwave?
Students need to eat. Sometimes you need a microwave. Here are some locations of microwaves throughout the main campus: Basic Needs Hub (GHL 216), Frost Arts Center, Clark Bookstore, Hanna Hall Study Lounge, Culinary, Student Life, JSH near Clark Café, BHL near vending machines, SHL lower level near vending machines, NERD Cave (SBG 102). Please be mindful that other students use this machine, too. Please clean up after you make a mess. Be a resourceful and responsible student.

Menu: Serving breakfast burritos, muffins, bagels, biscuits and gravy, breakfast sandwiches, bento, pizza, burritos, tacos, nachos, salads, baked potatoes, wraps, and a full espresso menu.

Hanna Hall Coffee Lounge
Hours: Monday - Thursday 7:40 a.m. - 2 p.m.; Friday 7:40 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Menu: Serving coffee, espresso drinks, tea, hot chocolate, frappes, smoothies, italian soda, energy drinks, oatmeal, bagels, donuts, muffins, scones, and danishes.

Did you know that if you need to print anything, each student has a printing account linked to their Clark Labs account? 1500 credits each term. Learn more about Student Print Accounts.
