Then get creative with one of our two featured crafts as the Activities Programming Board will be hosting a Donut Worry Event on Monday, April 13th in Clark College at WSU (CCW) from 11AM to 1PM. Student can choose between stuffing their cozy emoji pillow or designing a vision with inspirational grid to manifest goals. This is a perfect opportunity to grab a donut and relax. Emergencies don’t just happen on campus, they can impact your home, your family, and your daily life. Taking a little time to prepare now can help you feel more confident and ready when something unexpected happens.
Join us for a practical session focused on simple, actionable steps you can take to be better prepared. This session is presented by Jodi Blackwood with CRESA, who will share real-world guidance on understanding local hazards, creating a household emergency plan, building an emergency kit, preparing your space, and staying informed through alerts and reliable information sources.

Welcome to the first week of Spring Term! This is a fast-paced time with a lot of information coming your way! Students are adjusting to new classes, new technology and platforms, and a lot of new information! If you find yourself confused by the technology needs of college, navigating Canvas, accessing your classes and email, getting on the Wi-Fi, resetting your password or even just basic computer support – let us know!
Tutoring Services has several locations across campus, and you are welcome to visit any location for support with anything college tech related. However, we also have a brand-new space to support you – the Accounting, Business, & Technology Center located in AA4, Room 106! Tutors are staffed and ready to support you with any questions you may have regarding navigating college tech. Find all our locations and schedules on the Tutoring webpage.

Athletics
Discounted Fitness Center Passes
Currently enrolled students pay $10.00 / quarter to work out in the Clark College Fitness Center. Students take their photo ID to the Cashiers Office in Gaiser Hall to pay. Then, go to the Fitness Center in O'Connell Sports Complex (OSC). While supplies last.
Students who are currently enrolled in Physical Education, HPE 266 or HPE 258 (Fitness Wellness) can use the fitness center free for that quarter. Fitness Center hours and information.

Free C-Tran Bus Passes with a Free Student ID
Get a Free C-Tran Bus Pass and a Free Clark College Student ID through the Bookstore. Simply bring a valid photo ID.Apply Now for Scholarships!
Scholarships are available for students in any major who have a minimum 2.5 GPA and complete the application by April 16, 2026. Visit the Clark College Foundation website to apply and find more information about additional scholarship opportunities.
Commencement Ceremony Sign-up/Cap & Gown Order
Graduates - This year's Commencement Ceremony will be held Thursday, June 18, 2026. If you plan to participate please be sure to sign-up for the ceremony and order your cap and gown by April 10, 2026.
Campus Safety Reminder
Your safety matters. Clark is a public campus, and you may encounter visitors who are not affiliated with the college. Please keep the following in mind:
- Trust your instincts. You are not required to engage in conversations, surveys, photography, or other requests that make you uncomfortable.
- Contact Campus Security at 360-992-2133 if you experience or see concerning behavior. Save this number in your phone. Escorts are available upon request.
- Download the RAVE Guardian app to quickly connect with Security, share your location, or use a virtual safety timer.
- In an emergency or immediate threat, call 911.
Reporting concerns helps Security respond quickly and maintain a safe campus environment. Thank you for staying aware and looking out for one another.
Reminder: Animals on Campus
Clark College does not allow animals in campus buildings unless they are service animals, (Policy 510.058 Animals on Campus). What counts as a service animal? Under the ADA and Washington State law a service animal is a dog that is individually trained to perform a specific task related to a disability. Need help? Get directions, ask questions and grab a snack at the Information Tables on campus during Welcome Week.6 Locations: Hanna Hall Lobby, Joan Stout Hall Lobby, O'Connell Sports Center Lobby, STEM Building Lobby, Bauer Hall Lobby, and Gaiser Hall Concourse.

Pennies are Going Away!
You may have heard the news: the U.S. Treasury has officially stopped producing pennies. In response, Washington State recently passed a law (HB 2334) allowing businesses to round cash transactions to the nearest nickel.
What this means for you:
Beginning April 1st, Clark College will implement nickel-rounding for all cash transactions. This includes the Bookstore, McClaskey Culinary Institute, and the Cashier’s Office.
Paying with Cash? Your total will be rounded up or down to the nearest $0.05.
Paying with Card? Credit, debit, and gift card transactions will still be charged the exact amount—no rounding applied.
Rounding Guide for Cash Transactions:
- $1.01 or $1.02 → Rounds down to $1.00
- $1.03 or $1.04 → Rounds up to $1.05
- $1.06 or $1.07 → Rounds down to $1.05
- $1.08 or $1.09 → Rounds up to $1.10

Protect Yourself from Phishing Scams!
Always verify the legitimacy of requests for personal information, even if they seem to come from Clark College. If you receive an email, text, or call asking for sensitive details:
- Pause before responding.
- Contact the Clark College Helpdesk at (360) 992-2425 or helpdesk@clark.edu to confirm the request.
Scammers may pose as Clark College or state employees to steal your personal information. Stay vigilant and protect yourself from fraud. Stay safe—think before you share!
Need to Use a Microwave?
Students need to eat. Sometimes you need a microwave. Here are some locations of microwaves throughout the main campus: Basic Needs Hub (GHL 216), Frost Arts Center, Clark Bookstore, Hanna Hall Study Lounge, Culinary, Student Life, JSH near Clark Café, BHL near vending machines, SHL lower level near vending machines, NERD Cave (SBG 102). Please be mindful that other students use this machine, too. Please clean up after you make a mess. Be a resourceful and responsible student.
