Workshops for you! Tutoring Services has created workshops specifically designed to support the most common issues students tackle during the first couple weeks of the quarter – technology, organization, and time management. - College Technology & Canvas Support: Review the technology needed for your classes, get assistance with accessing campus computers and Wi-Fi, learn to log on, navigate, and understand Canvas, student email and other tech requirements of college life! - Organizing & Time Management: Join us for an interactive workshop designed to get organized to tackle that current course load! Please come prepared with copies of the syllabus from all currently registered classes (or at least one). APB Anaconda Movie Day, April 27th, 12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. in Gaiser Student Center
Join us to watch the movie they are trying to remake! Get your free pizza and drinks as the Activities Programming Board will be hosting an Anaconda Movie Day.

APB Clay Creations Contest, April 21st, 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. in Hanna Hall
Get creative for our craft competition. Every hour from 11AM-2PM, submit your clay creation to be judged for a $5, $10, or $20 Bookstore gift card prize! Free, colorful clay and cafe drinks will be provided for all during the event.

We especially want to hear your ideas, expectations, and what support would help you thrive at Clark. This is your space to help shape what this group becomes. We’ll also talk about leadership opportunities and officer roles for those who may want to help guide and grow the club.

Campus Moms Connect.
Being a student is a lot. Being a mom is a lot. Being both? Superhero status!
Join us for our next MOMS Connect meet-up. This is a casual, supportive space for campus moms to connect, unwind, and build community.
We will have light refreshments, snacks, and a simple craft activity – and of course, you are welcome with or without your children. Whether you’re looking to meet other student moms, share resources, or laugh about your child’s latest shenanigans, (glitter explosions, a mystery artist’s crayon murals, playdough crusted carpet creations) we are here for it! Come as you are and connect with us!

Yes, we are back in action and ready to make an impact!
What are we about? PERIOD's website addresses menstrual equity issues through the three main pillars: Service (increasing access to products), Education (breaking the stigma through conversation and awareness), and Advocacy (pushing for systemic change and equity).
Join us at our first meeting where we will cover Student Life Club Orientation and start planning our first Packing Party of the year! We will be assembling goody bags filled with period products for our campus community. We’re partnering with the Basic Needs Hub to make these supplies accessible starting right here within our very own Clark community. Want to be take part in this meaningful cause, have fun and make friends, then check us out! Light snacks and refreshments will be available.
Artist Talk: Nan Curtis, April 14th, 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. in PUB 161
Nan Curtis received her MFA from the University of Cincinnati & BA from the College of Wooster. Curtis's practice is interdisciplinary, mining site, home and personal narrative to reframe what can be considered mundane. Major exhibitions include Mira Costa College, San Diego; DiverseWorks, Houston; Tacoma Art Museum; ConsolidatedWorks, Seattle; Linfield College, OR; Portland Institute for Contemporary Art (PICA), Elizabeth Leach, Williamson/Knight, 1430Contemporary, NINE & The Art Gym in Portland.
This artist talk is in conjunction with her exhibit “2026 Artist In Residence: Nan Curtis” on view in the Archer Gallery through May 6th.

Free Student Leadership Conference, April 24th, 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at Main Campus

Discounted Fitness Center Passes
Currently enrolled students pay $10.00 / quarter to work out in the Clark College Fitness Center. Students take their photo ID to the Cashiers Office in Gaiser Hall to pay. Then, go to the Fitness Center in O'Connell Sports Complex (OSC). While supplies last.
Students who are currently enrolled in Physical Education, HPE 266 or HPE 258 (Fitness Wellness) can use the fitness center free for that quarter. Fitness Center hours and information.

Free C-Tran Bus Passes with a Free Student ID
Get a Free C-Tran Bus Pass and a Free Clark College Student ID through the Bookstore. Simply bring a valid photo ID.Apply Now for Scholarships!
Scholarships are available for students in any major who have a minimum 2.5 GPA and complete the application by April 16, 2026. Visit the Clark College Foundation website to apply and find more information about additional scholarship opportunities.
Commencement Ceremony Sign-up/Cap & Gown Order
Graduates - This year's Commencement Ceremony will be held Thursday, June 18, 2026. If you plan to participate please be sure to sign-up for the ceremony and order your cap and gown by April 10, 2026.
Campus Safety Reminder
Your safety matters. Clark is a public campus, and you may encounter visitors who are not affiliated with the college. Please keep the following in mind:
- Trust your instincts. You are not required to engage in conversations, surveys, photography, or other requests that make you uncomfortable.
- Contact Campus Security at 360-992-2133 if you experience or see concerning behavior. Save this number in your phone. Escorts are available upon request.
- Download the RAVE Guardian app to quickly connect with Security, share your location, or use a virtual safety timer.
- In an emergency or immediate threat, call 911.
Reporting concerns helps Security respond quickly and maintain a safe campus environment. Thank you for staying aware and looking out for one another.
Reminder: Animals on Campus
Clark College does not allow animals in campus buildings unless they are service animals, (Policy 510.058 Animals on Campus). What counts as a service animal? Under the ADA and Washington State law a service animal is a dog that is individually trained to perform a specific task related to a disability. You may have heard the news: the U.S. Treasury has officially stopped producing pennies. In response, Washington State recently passed a law (HB 2334) allowing businesses to round cash transactions to the nearest nickel. What this means for you: Beginning April 1st, Clark College will implement nickel-rounding for all cash transactions. This includes the Bookstore, McClaskey Culinary Institute, and the Cashier’s Office. Paying with Cash? Your total will be rounded up or down to the nearest $0.05. Paying with Card? Credit, debit, and gift card transactions will still be charged the exact amount—no rounding applied.Rounding Guide for Cash Transactions:$1.01 or $1.02 → Rounds down to $1.00$1.03 or $1.04 → Rounds up to $1.05$1.06 or $1.07 → Rounds down to $1.05$1.08 or $1.09 → Rounds up to $1.10Nominate a Fellow Penguin for Penguin Nation Awards Luncheon!

Protect Yourself from Phishing Scams!
Always verify the legitimacy of requests for personal information, even if they seem to come from Clark College. If you receive an email, text, or call asking for sensitive details:
- Pause before responding.
- Contact the Clark College Helpdesk at (360) 992-2425 or helpdesk@clark.edu to confirm the request.
Scammers may pose as Clark College or state employees to steal your personal information. Stay vigilant and protect yourself from fraud. Stay safe—think before you share!
Need to Use a Microwave?
Students need to eat. Sometimes you need a microwave. Here are some locations of microwaves throughout the main campus: Basic Needs Hub (GHL 216), Frost Arts Center, Clark Bookstore, Hanna Hall Study Lounge, Culinary, Student Life, JSH near Clark Café, BHL near vending machines, SHL lower level near vending machines, NERD Cave (SBG 102). Please be mindful that other students use this machine, too. Please clean up after you make a mess. Be a resourceful and responsible student.

Did you know that if you need to print anything, each student has a printing account linked to their Clark Labs account? 1500 credits each term. Learn more about Student Print Accounts.
