STEPP
The Student Tuition Easy Payment Plan (STEPP) is an optional payment program offered at Clark College. STEPP makes budgeting for college expenses more flexible each term because it lets you pay in installments interest-free in the term. You can make payments by personal check, cash or credit card. There is a $25 non-refundable charge for each term that you enroll in STEPP.
What does STEPP cover?
STEPP covers tuition and class fees for the specified term that you are enrolled in the plan. Expenses for books, fines, parking fees or administrative costs and fees charged by the college are not covered in the plan.
How does STEPP work?
The advantage of STEPP is that you gain more flexibility to fit tuition and fee payments into your budget. Instead of making one single payment for the entire amount, you can enroll in STEPP and make up to three separate installments in the term, interest-free.
For example, if your tuition and fees total $630, your payment schedule would be as follows:
- 1st installment is due when completing the online STEPP Enrollment. $235 [one-third tuition and fees = $210, plus non-refundable enrollment fee = $25]
- 2nd installment: $210
- 3rd installment: $210
STEPP Payment Due Dates
Tuition is due 3 weeks before the start of the term. If you enroll into STEPP after the first tuition due date, the 2nd and 3rd installments will be 30 days and 60 days after the first tuition due date. Please refer to the schedule below for further information.
