Dreamers
Clark College supports our Dreamer, DACA, HB 1079, and undocumented students. Wherever your journey began, we are glad to have you here.
All are welcome here
Clark College affirms its commitment to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment where all students can pursue their educations. With that in mind, we declare:
- The college does not make admissions decisions based on immigration status, and we do not ask for immigration documentation except as needed to determine eligibility for in-state tuition.
- Student records, including any information regarding immigration status, are protected by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). The college does not share these records except as required in response to a lawfully issued subpoena or court order.
- Our college security officers do not question people about their immigration status and do not detain people because they are undocumented.
College is possible
You do not need to be a U.S. citizen to be admitted to Clark College or to receive in-state tuition. While some forms of financial aid are not available to undocumented students, you may be eligible for Washington state financial aid and/or scholarship opportunities. Visit our Paying for College as a Dreamer page to learn more.
Find your community
Attending college when you’re undocumented can sometimes feel lonely and intimidating. Please know that many of our staff members are trained to understand the issues confronting Dreamers and are here to help.
