Basic Education Students Transitioning to College Level Coursework
Continuing students who are ready to transition from Basic Education coursework into
college-level Math and/or English have the following pathways available:
Math: Upon successful completion of CAP 42 and/or CAP 46, students may directly enroll
in college-level Math classes. Students also have the option to take the ALEKS Math
Assessment to potentially place into a higher-level college Math course.
English: Upon successful completion of CAP 90, students may directly enroll in college-level
English classes.
