Winter 2019

During Winter’s Focus on Learning, we will continue with our theme of Supporting Students on the Path, and turn our focus on strategies you, as faculty members, can integrate in your course design to support students.

We will begin the morning with two exciting presentations:

  1. The Four Connections, presented by Sally Heilstedt, Dean of Instruction, Engagement & Learning, from Lake Washington Institute of Technology
  2. Transparency in Learning and Teaching, presented by our very own Jill Darley-Vanis, Professor of English.

After lunch, you will have an opportunity to work with an interdisciplinary team to better align your program outcomes and distribution courses.
