Disbursements and Refunds

How are my financial aid funds disbursed?

Financial aid funds are applied directly to your student account to pay tuition and fees each term. Grants, scholarships, and accepted loans are automatically disbursed 1–2 business days before the first day of classes.

If your total awards exceed the cost of tuition and fees, the remaining balance will be refunded to you according to the refund preference you select through BM Technologies, Inc.’s disbursements program.

If your financial aid award does not fully cover your tuition and fees, you are responsible for paying the remaining balance.

When do I receive my refund?

If your financial aid exceeds your tuition and fees, the remaining balance will be issued to you as a refund through BM Technologies, Inc.’s disbursements program.
