Campus Climate Assessment
Campus Climate Assessment Background
In April 2022, Clark College administered a campus climate survey. The survey is in keeping with the college's mission to cultivate an inclusive, equitable, and vibrant community. It also keeps the college in compliance with the Revised Code of Washington. RCW 28B.10.147
The college will administer an equity-centric campus climate survey every two years through a collaboration between the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (ODEI) and the Office of Assessment and Institutional Research (AIR).
Campus Climate Assessment Results
Clark College has selected the HEDS Diversity and Equity Campus Climate Survey to evaluate student and employee attitudes and awareness of campus diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Requests for clarification or additional analyses can be submitted to AIR. air@clark.edu
An executive summary of the survey, the campus climate survey results, and redacted comments are available for review by the college community and the community at large.
Clark College Listening Sessions
All members of the Clark College community are encouraged to attend and share their experiences at a listening session. Remote and in-person sessions will be scheduled during the week of January 22, 2024. Each session will have 8-10 people and will last approximately 1 hour. Refreshments will be provided at in-person sessions.
To make Clark College a place where people feel successful and supported and as part of the Clark Cares initiative, we are using these listening sessions to understand what your experience is to inform changes and let us know what is currently working for students, faculty and staff.
