Deceased Student Process

In the event of the death of a currently enrolled Clark College student, the proper notification channels must be followed. In order to respect the decedent's next of kin and to ensure that all of the appropriate campus individuals have been contacted. When a member of the Clark College community becomes aware of the passing of a Clark College student, former or current, College employees or a student’s family should notify the Registrar at The Registrar is responsible for notifying the appropriate departments.

The Assistant Director of Student Care and Conduct will provide outreach to support faculty and students that are directly impacted by the death of a member of our campus community, contact for more information.

Student's impacted by the passing of a classmate or member of the campus community may directly contact the Counseling and Health Center for immediate support.
