High School+
About The Program
High School+ is a low-cost option for adults to earn their high school diploma. Students may begin the program before the age of 21, but cannot be awarded a diploma until the quarter they turn 21 years old. High School+ infuses basic skills classes with more rigorous, high-school level education and training so students can upgrade their skills while working toward a high school credential. Students take Career and Academic Preparation (CAP) classes. CAP classes cost $25.00 tuition per quarter. Tuition assistance is available. You must be 16 years of age or older and have a Washington state address.
Getting Started
We accept high school credits you have earned, GED tests you have passed, and work experience toward your High School+ diploma. We will get started by evaluating your transcripts and documents to determine credits you have satisfied and credits you need to earn.
Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, we will be working over phone and email to get you started. Please email transcripts to tssupport@clark.edu We are happy to accept unofficial transcripts to get you started and will work with you to get official transcripts before your High School+ diploma is awarded. Please email tssupport@clark.edu with questions or leave a message at 360-992-2741 and one of our staff members will return your call.
Transcript Evaluations and Educational Plans: Once a transcript evaluation is complete, students receive an email with the results and are contacted shortly after to schedule an appointment with a Pathway Advisor. During the appointment, the Pathway Advisor will go over the evaluation and create a customized education plan, including an estimated timeline to completion.
You must be 16 years of age or older. If you are under age 19, you must have a release from compulsory high school attendance.
