Students complete an externship at one of our clinical sites, either in the Portland or the Vancouver area. So you are very well-prepared when you go out into the field seeking a job. Phlebotomy is a rapidly growing field and there are many jobs available for students.
You’ll learn how to draw blood using a variety of different methods on diverse patient populations including adults, children, and infants. Our program places strong emphasis on safety, patient care, and ensuring blood samples are handled, processed, and transported using the highest industry requirements and standards.
