Fundamentals of Accounting

At Clark, students learn the importance of the different areas that make up accounting. We offer foundational skills in manual accounting procedures, business applications, and incorporate soft skills to make students competitive in the workplace.

Our program is flexible and allows students to complete a significant portion of the program online. Upon completion, students will acquire the skills to manage financial resources, policies, and decisions.

Career Opportunities

Employment opportunities for Accounting are wide ranging and exist in a variety of formats: accounting clerk, accounts payable specialist, and accounting technician.

According to the U.S. Department of Labor, employment forecast accounting jobs growing at a rate of 13%, with a median wage of $19.37 per hour in the Portland-Vancouver metro area.
