Lactation Rooms
Clark College offers two lactation room locations on the main campus available to any member of the Clark community including students, staff, and faculty. Each room is a private space with a nearby sink and restroom. There is a comfortable chair where people feeding their children, or pumping, can relax.

Federal Financial Aid (FASFA)
FAFSA provides several types of funding to help you cover the cost of education expenses including tuition, fees, books, and supplies.

State Financial Aid (WASFA)
The WASFA is for people who don’t file a federal FAFSA application. A person should complete the WASFA if they are undocumented or do not qualify for federal financial aid because of their immigration status.

A grant for students who are experiencing a financial emergency or unanticipated expenses that have arisen during their enrollment at Clark College.

Clark Public Utilities Financial Assistance
Clark Public Utilities has several programs of their own and others in partnership with the city of Vancouver and the state of Washington to provide customers with financial assistance.

Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)
A federally funded program that provides financial assistance with home heating costs once per year. This program is open from October 1 through June 30.
- Eligibility: based on income and household size
Guarantee of Service Plan (GOSP)
A 12-month program which reduces electricity payments to a percentage of the monthly household income.
- Eligibility: based on income and household size
H2O (Help to Others) Program
A program through the city of Vancouver which provides customers with a one-time voucher to help with water and sewer bills once every two years.
- Eligibility: the individual must have past due notice, must meet the eligibility criteria for LIHEAP, must not be receiving subsidized housing, and must be listed on the utility account.

Oak Bridge Youth Shelter

Family Promise of Clark County
A national non-profit mobilizing local resources to help homeless families.
- How to Access: for each of the programs listed, you must call the intake coordinator to discuss your needs and determine eligibility.

Shelter program: provides a shelter to stay overnight, a day center to be at during the day, three meals per day for each family member in the program, and case management for each family.
- Eligibility: the family must have at least one child under 18.
Diversion funding: helps families pay first, last, and security deposit.- Eligibility: the individual must have proof of approval for move-in.
Prevention funding: provides up to $1,000 for rent assistance.- Eligibility: the individual must have a 30-day eviction notice and proof that the remaining balance will be covered.

A day shelter program that offers a dry, warm, safe place where youth have access to a bathroom, shower, laundry facilities, computer, phone, Wi-Fi, meals and skilled staff to help them connect with additional resources.
