Preston Wadley, The Colonial Gaze 2007 mixed media The seven featured artists of �Expanded Narrative: The Photographic Image in Mixed Media Constructions � enhance the narrative opportunities of the photographic image. Through the additional context of a sculptural framework, the artists move photography beyond the flat frame into a new interpretive experience. Confirming, clarifying, obscuring, or supporting the found or new photographic images, the artists expand the storytelling options of the medium.
