The Archer Gallery hosts an eclectic exhibition of artists using the simple geometric
forms of circle, triangle, and square. Often overshadowed in the Northwest by figurative
narrative work, the geometric form has a presence in regional art as well as a significant
historical antecedent in the world art community.
Representing the historical context of the imagery are prints by Josef Albers, Robert
Mangold, and Frank Stella. Shown in conjunction with these works are regional artists
G. Lewis Clevenger (paintings), Chris Engman (photography), Chris Gander (sculpture),
Victoria Haven (drawings), Mary Henry (paintings and drawings), Anne Hirondelle (ceramics),
Lance Letscher (collage), Rae Mahaffey (paintings), and Jamie Walker (ceramics).
