Foundational Knowledge in the Physical Sciences

Physics is a far-reaching discipline that teaches students the process of thinking analytically through creative experimentation. Clark’s physics courses focus on chemistry, mathematics, and engineering concepts to build a solid foundation in the physical sciences.

Career Opportunities

Employment opportunities for physicists vary depending on industry and exist in a variety of formats: biochemist, biophysicist, nanosystems engineer, and materials scientist.

Clark offers an Associate in Science Transfer degree (AST2) designed for students planning to transfer to a four-year institution to pursue a bachelor's degree program in science or engineering. The job titles listed are opportunities based on a bachelor’s degree and above.
