Transitional Studies Testing Center
CASAS (Comprehensive Adult Student Assessment Systems)
CASAS tests are used to place students into Career and Academic Preparation (CAP) and English as a Second Language (ESL) classes. Students who are going to enroll in an I-BEST program will also need to take the CASAS tests.
Each test is timed and takes approximately one hour to complete. CAP students are required to have tests in Reading and Math. ESL students are required to have tests in Reading and Listening. Students should plan on two and a half hours to complete testing.
What do I need to do to get started?
Check in to test in the T Building, room 216. In order to complete the CASAS tests, please arrive within the designated check-in times with photo ID and student ID number.
