IT'S ALL ABOUT THE STUDENT Clark College President Robert K. Knight will deliver VANCOUVER, Wash. – Student success will be the focus when Clark College President Robert K. Knight delivers the 2008 State of the College address on January 17. The event will take place at 11 a.m. in the Gaiser Student Center on the college’s main campus. Doors will open at 10:30 a.m. and seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Clark College is located at 1933 Fort Vancouver Way, Vancouver. Knight will showcase Clark students as he discusses college accomplishments and challenges from the past year. He will also outline programs, initiatives and events scheduled for 2008, including the college’s ten-year accreditation visit by officials of the Northwest Association of Colleges and Universities and the kickoff of the college’s 75th anniversary celebration. Both will take place in October. Knight will also unveil a college-wide health and wellness initiative. In addition to delivering the keynote address, Knight will visit Clark College at Town Plaza and Clark College at WSU Vancouver to mark the annual State of the College event. -30- |
