New to College Fall 2025 Students!

If you are brand new to college and undecided or interested in transfer degrees, please register for a First Term Group Advising Session! These are held virtually and in person throughout the summer. These sessions will cover degree pathways, academic resources and common new student questions.

Making an Advising Appointment

Appointments are for newly admitted, returning, and continuing students. We book appointments up to two weeks in advance and new appointments open each day at midnight (Monday through Friday). If you can't find an appointment and need to talk about an immediate issue or concern, we suggest using our 10-minute drop-in advising, or emailing advising@clark.edu

For more information on what constitutes an advising appointment versus a drop-in, look at our FAQs page.

Additionally, some programs like engineering, computer science, and fine arts are faculty-advised only. Please look at our Program Advising Contacts page for more information.

Please make sure to check your email address for accuracy. If you do not receive a confirmation email within 30 minutes or have trouble booking, please email advising@clark.edu and include your ctcLink ID number.

If you are more than 10 minutes late for your scheduled advising appointment, you will be asked to reschedule. This policy serves as a reminder to be respectful of fellow students’ time. Advising appointments are in high demand and can be difficult to schedule. A “no-show” deprives another student the opportunity to meet with their adviser and takes away from advisers’ time to assist students.
