Newly Admitted Students
Before you meet with an academic advisor, please complete the following:
- Online New Student Orientation
- Have valid placement for math and English
- Identify your major or area of study
Scheduling Your Academic Advising Appointment
Scheduled appointments can be virtual or on campus. Select the appropriate area of study in the drop-downs below then select the type of appointment you wish to schedule. You will receive a confirmation email when the appointment has been made.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are scheduling a virtual appointment via Zoom, please make sure to check your spam/junk folder and verify the correct spelling of your email address. If you have not received a confirmation email for your appointment within 30 minutes of booking, please email advising@clark.edu with your full name, ctcLink ID number and appointment information.
If you are more than 10 minutes late for your advising appointment, you will be marked
as a "no show" and will need to reschedule.
Advising appointments are available to schedule two weeks in advance so each day, new appointment times open for two weeks in the future. If you do not see any appointment times please check back daily. If you have any issues with scheduling, please email advising@clark.edu and include your ctcLink student ID number.
How to join your scheduled virtual advising appointment
In your confirmation email for your appointment, advisor Zoom links will be available. At your appointment time, please click the Zoom link for the advisor you are scheduled with and you will be directed to their waiting room until available. Make sure to check your video & audio settings.
Advising for Transfer Programs
Clark College offers programs to specifically support students who intend to transfer to a university after Clark and complete their bachelor degree. Students interested in earning an Associate of Arts degree or any of our transfer degrees should meet with an advisor to understand requirements, course scheduling and how to transfer to a university. Please select from one of the areas of study below that most closely relate to your major interests.

Book Appointment for Running Start
Students enrolled as a Junior or Senior in their high school may enroll at Clark College, through the Running Start program. Take college classes for credit towards your high school diploma and get college credits. Some students can earn an associate degree while also graduating from their local high school. Meet with an advisor to discuss how to maximize your time at Clark to meet High School requirements and College prerequisites, or discuss degree options at Clark.

Whether your creative interests involve designing, communicating, performing, or producing, you’ll find a home in our Creative and Communication Arts area of study. We offer
various programs to explore your creativity and express your artistic voice and vision.

You’d be at home in the Science and Technology area of study, where students gain
hands-on, real-world experience—doing everything from studying microbes to designing
rockets to trouble-shooting computer networks. This includes Networking Technologies, Computer Support, and Science (non-healthcare related) Transfer majors.
