Workshop Descriptions
AA-DTA Planning: Come learn how to best use your AA degree! We will go over core requirements, best
classes for your major focus at the university and tips and tricks for planning.
Business Pathways: Did you know there are two business options at Clark - non-transfer and transfer?
Make sure you are on the right business track by attending this session and how your
skills transfer to a university or into a career position.
First Term Success: Is fall your first term at Clark? Welcome! Come check out this session to make sure
you are doing all that you can to set yourself up for success in and out of the classroom
(virtual or on campus!).
Healthcare Pathways: Healthcare jobs are in demand and there are so many different options to work in
the healthcare industry. Come hear from one of our healthcare advisors about the job
requirements, industry certifications and educational pathways that will put you in
the right career position.
Running Start Success: If you are a Running Start student, you have a lot to juggle between high school
and college requirements! Come hear from one of our Running Start advisors to make
sure you are doing everything to be successful.
Science Pathways: Science is a HUGE area of study and there are differences that you need to know
about! Do you need calculus? Do you need chemistry? Does the university you are considering
even have your major? We can talk more about options and planning important classes.
Transfer Planning: Are you thinking about transferring to a 4-year university after Clark? Come to this session to learn more about which degrees are transfer-friendly,
how to prepare for transferring and what to ask the university.
