Earn a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Management.
This career-oriented program provides graduates with the training they need to succeed in management positions in a wide range of businesses and industries, to include government and non- profit entities. Graduates learn the skills needed to run a small business or entrepreneurial venture, to work in a managerial position for larger institutions and companies, and to apply for graduate programs at colleges and universities.
A traditional bachelor’s degree requires general education classes from various disciplines and is designed to provide students a wide base of knowledge, allowing them to concentrate on their managerial education in the third and fourth years of their studies. A BAS degree is for recipients of two-year degrees, with skills selected early within their education, applied to a specific industry or career. In their third and fourth years, upper-division management theory is combined with concentrated skill applications to meet the local demand for technically diverse management personnel.
