Services for the Community

Something for Everyone

Clark College offers the community many opportunities and services beyond the classroom. Visit our activities calendar for events that are open to the public.

Archer Gallery

Archer Gallery exhibits contemporary art by well-known artists from around the region and the country. It also showcases Clark student work in its spring-quarter Art Student Annual. Through its popular Clark Art Talks series, it hosts a diverse selection of artists who discuss the process and intent of their work.

Community and Continuing Education

Community and Continuting Education is the region's premier provider of classes, seminars, certificate programs and training opportunities for personal and corporate learning, serving the residents and businesses of Southwest Washington and beyond.

Penguin Athletics

A member of the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges, Clark sponsors intercollegiate teams for cross country, track and field, basketball, women's softball, men's baseball, women's volleyball, and soccer. Athletic events are open to the public and admission is normally low or no cost.

Career Services

Career Services provides students, graduates and community members the resources and strategies for making informed career choices, connecting with employment opportunities, and attaining successful career transitions.

Child Care

We provide a variety of coordinated services for diverse families, including full and half-day programs for young children.

Dental Hygiene Clinic

Students, under the direct supervision of licensed dental hygienists and dentists, provide high-quality dental care at low cost to members of the Vancouver/Portland community.

Computer Repair

The Penguin Help Desk is a student-staffed computer help desk run as part of the college's Computer Support Specialist program. It is located on the Clark College main campus and provides students, faculty, and anyone in the community with free computer repair and software assistance.

Facility Rentals

Many venues at the college—from small classrooms to large outdoor spaces—are available for rent by members of the community. Our Event Services Office can help you book an appropriate location for your next event.
