Peer Institution Comparisons to Improve Institutional Effectiveness
Peer comparisons are an important part Student Achievement at Clark College. In the past, peer comparisons have focused on comparing Clark College to other technical and community college's within the state system. In an effort to make more meaningful comparisons, Planning & Effectiveness developed a Peer Selection methodology and selected five regional and five national peer institutions based on a set of shared characteristics.

What is IPEDS?
The Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS), is a system of 12 interrelated survey components conducted annually that gathers data from every college, university, and technical and vocational institution that participates in the federal student financial aid programs. The data collections occur in fall, winter, and spring.
