Tutoring services are available free of charge to all registered Clark College students. Tutors recommended by the faculty provide help in many subject areas. You are encouraged to visit our Main Campus locations in Hawkins Hall, Room 102, or the Tutoring/Writing Center Annex, in AA4, Room 106 as well as our new Columbia Tech Center location in CTC room 306. Stop by anytime in the quarter to request help and check posted tutor schedules.
The Writing Center is open to the entire campus community to provide assistance with all kinds of writing, from paper assignments to resumes. The Center provides free, one-on-one consulting for writing assignments from all courses. Consultants suggest strategies and teach principles to help you learn to evaluate and revise your own writing and become a more effective writer. Please look at our handout for more information. As with tutoring in any subject, help is available both by appointment or on a drop-in basis.
Free online tutoring is also available to Clark students, 24/7, at www.eTutoring.org. Go to the site and select "Clark College" from the drop down menu under "Northwest Consortium" and follow the directions to activate your account. If you already have an active account, you may go directly to the log-in.
