Career Assessments
Each quarter we offer many different ways to help you clarify your career goals, including individual assessments, research tools, and career exploration classes. Career assessment resources are available to students and community members
and outlined in a pdf handout.
The
Career Center offers Strong Interest Inventory and Myers-Briggs Personality Type Indicator assessments for a small fee.
Each assessment includes a 90-minute interpretation of results.
Less comprehensive, free-of-charge computer-based assessments of interests, skills, workplace values and personal job preferences are available on a walk-in basis at the Career Center, GHL 108.
Several sections of Career and Life Planning (HDEV 100 and 101), offered weekdays, evenings, weekends and online, are listed in the Human Development section of the course catalog.
Visit GHL 108 and check out the Career Center Computer Desktop and Career Library for comprehensive information about industries, occupations, current and future employment trends, education and training. Computers are available for career research and job search purposes.
