When you enroll in courses at Clark College, your registration opens the door to more than just an education. You also become a member of the Associated Students of Clark College, known as ASCC, which brings with it a myriad of opportunities for getting involved and for representing the student body in college-related activities and organizations. ASCC represents the college's more than 12,000 students.
Clark students have elected new leaders to head the ASCC during the 2007-2008 academic year. They are:
President: Patrick Mehigan
Vice President: Derrick Streng
Club Coordinator: Cynthia (Cindi) Kunkle

In his candidate statement, Streng shared his feelings about
Clark College: “It’s a fantastic institution where
students who are hungry for knowledge and serious about study
are given wonderful opportunities to better themselves and their
respective communities.” |

Her four years of experience will serve her in her new role as
ASCC club coordinator – one she sees as valuable to the
college and its students. “Many students do not realize
there are clubs,” she wrote in her candidate statement,
“so they go straight home after class…To me, clubs
are more than just extramural activities; they are people who
are passionate for their causes.” |
