Coach Arnold's Comment:
A freshman, Derek has worked to improve his game off the court by being committed to the weight room and gaining 20 lbs in the past two years. Always an excellent shooter, he has improved his dribble drive, his ability to pass, as well his foot speed and defensive commitment. The freshman team captain, his leadership and commitment to the overall success of the program serves as a role model for other players.
