| Max Rameau - Take Back the Land |

| Come join the Student Life Office as we present Max Rameau on November 13 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in Gaiser Student Center. Max Rameau is a Haitian-born Pan-African theorist and organizer. He moved to Miami, Florida in 1991 and began organizing for Haitian immigrants, criminal justice issues and police brutality. Max founded the land-based organization Take Back the Land in 2006, and authored the book in 2008 recounting the experiences of the Umoja Village. Housing is a human right! Land for people, not for profit! |
