THROUGH CLARK COLLEGE’S DISCOVERY BOOK CLUB
Books to inspire thought, discussion and passion will be discussed on the last Thursday of each month at Clark’s Cannell Library
VANCOUVER, Wash. – Clark College’s Discovery Book Club has announced the three books that will be the focus of this spring’s book club discussions.
February 26 - “The Spirit Catches You and You Fall Down” by Anne Fadiman. Interim Dean of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Kathleen Murphy will lead the discussion. For more information, visit: http://www.spiritcatchesyou.com/index.htm.
March – No meeting due to spring break
April 30 – “Memoirs of a Survivor” by Doris Lessing. The discussion leader will be Interim Dean of eLearning Ann Virtu Snyder. Information about this book is available at http://www.dorislessing.org/thememoirs.html

The Discovery Book Club is sponsored by the college’s Cannell Library. Book club discussions are held from 4:30-5:30 p.m. on the last Thursday of each month in the library’s Cannell Room (room 101). The book club is free and open to all members of the college and community.
