Returning Student

Returning students are students who have previously attended Clark College and have been away for more than four consecutive quarters. The processes for these students can vary based on how long they have been away from Clark and what program they are joining. For more information on what your steps may be, contact 360-992-NEXT.

Returning StudentsSteps to Enroll

1. Reapply for Admissions

Reapply online on our Admissions webpage or in-person at the Welcome Center in Gaiser Hall.

Returning students do not need to pay the application fee.

2. Meet with an Enrollment Navigator

Review your remaining enrollment requirements with an Enrollment Navigator. Connecting with your Enrollment Navigator during your entry process is highly recommended!

Email start@clark.edu to schedule an appointment. 

3. Apply for Financial Aid

Fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at fafsa.ed.gov.
More funding options can be found on our Financial Aid webpage. Not applicable for students in the Running Start, High School Diploma or GED prep, or International programs.

4. Review and Complete Placement

Visiting our Placement webpage, or visit Enrollment Services to review your previous placement results and courses. 

If you are a High School Diploma or GED Preparation student, you will need to attend a CAP Testing and Registration Lab (Orientation) to complete placement and register for classes.

5. Determine your Orientation Requirements

Follow the instructions on the Returning Student Orientation webpage. Some returning students are required to attend an Orientation at Clark College prior to registering. 

6. Register for Classes

Register online on your My Clark student account.
