WorkFirst Programs
Financial assistance is available to low-income working parents for
job-related education and training.
Clark College has programs designed to help you keep a job or get
a better one! You do not have to be on WorkFirst if you meet other eligibility
requirements. Take a look at these options.
The
Free Tuition program gives WorkFirst and other low-wage working
parents access to skill training to increase their opportunities
for better employment and earnings.
- Are you currently employed?
- Do you have children that you are financially responsible for?
If
you answered yes to these questions, you could qualify for free
tuition and books if you:
- Need classes to upgrade skills
- Want to start a vocational degree program
- Are not eligible for financial aid
- Have other financial resources, but not enough to cover the cost
of tuition, fees and books
Income Limits
You must be in paid employment and have an average net monthly
income below 175% of the Federal poverty level. This includes paid
income and all other income for the family.
We can help
you apply for financial aid, fill out admissions forms, and schedule
college advising.
