After You Receive Financial Aid

Your financial aid award notification indicates, by quarter, the financial aid program(s) and amount(s) you qualify for and your enrollment status. Your tuition will be deducted automatically from your financial aid as long as you register for the number of credits indicated. Any remaining funds will be available to you in the form of a check.

Financial aid checks are disbursed the first day of the quarter providing you met the application deadline, have no outstanding debts to the college and have proof of class attendance.

Loans: You will need to fill out a separate application located on this page: http://www.clark.edu/admissions_fin_aid/fin_aid/stafford.php.

Picking Up Your Check

Complete the top portion of the required Proof of Attendance Form and have one of your instructors complete the bottom portion. This form is available on-line or at the Financial Aid Office

Return your completed attendance form, signed by your instructor, to the Financial Aid Office. *

Pick up your "Check Release Form" from the Financial Aid Office * and take it to the Cashier's Office to pick up your check(s).

* For your convenience, during the first two days of each quarter, check release forms and checks are available in the Gaiser Hall Student Center.
