High School 21+

About The Program

High School 21+ is a low-cost option for adults to earn their high school diploma. Students may begin the program before the age of 21, but cannot be awarded a diploma until the quarter they turn 21 years old.  High School 21+ infuses basic skills classes with more rigorous, high-school level education and training so students can upgrade their skills while working toward a high school credential. Students take Career and Academic Preparation (CAP) classes.  CAP classes cost $25.00 tuition per quarter. Tuition assistance is available. You must be 16 years of age or older.

Getting Started

To get enrolled and start working toward a high school diploma, students need to attend a Career and Academic Preparation (CAP) Information Session.

High School Transcripts:  Students can use the credits they earned in high school toward their high school diploma.  Students must submit an official high school transcript for these credits to be used. Official transcripts should be in a sealed envelope from the school or school district the student last attended.  Contact the high school or high school district for more information on obtaining an official transcript. Submit transcripts in person to the T-Building, room 201 or by mail to the following address:

Clark College, High School Completion
1933 Fort Vancouver Way
Mail Stop TBG 215
Vancouver, WA 98663

Schedule and attend a Career and Academic Preparation (CAP) New Student Orientation.

Transcript Evaluations and Educational Plans:  Once a transcript evaluation is complete, students receive an email with the results and are contacted shortly after to schedule an appointment with the High School Completion Specialist.  During the appointment, the specialist will go over the evaluation and create a customized education plan, including an estimated timeline to completion.

You must be 16 years of age or older.  If you are under age 19, you must have a release from compulsory high school attendance.
