Degrees and Certificates
Students who fulfill the requirements of the AAS degree in ECE can find opportunity for work in early learning settings working with children and families. These settings are found in center based care and family home care. These settings may be in for profit or non-profit, half day programs, before and after school programs, Head Start and ECAEP, teacher training programs, etc. Students will be prepared to provide curriculum, implement philosophy, observe, document and assess children as well as working in relationship with families.
If you are interested in earning a bachelor's degree in ECE, the program offers a transfer degree with articulation agreements in several four year institutions in the State of Washington.
