Associate of Applied Science:

Students who fulfill the requirements of the AAS degree in ECE can find opportunity for work in early learning settings working with children and families. These settings are found in center based care and family home care. These settings may be in for profit or non-profit, half day programs, before and after school programs, Head Start and ECAEP, teacher training programs, etc. Students will be prepared to provide curriculum, implement philosophy, observe, document and assess children as well as working in relationship with families.

Associate of Applied Science in ECE – Transfer:

If you are interested in earning a bachelor’s degree in ECE, the program offers a transfer degree with articulation agreements in several four year institutions in the State of Washington.

The program also offers several certificates including the following:
  • Advanced Applied Curriculum Planning Certificate of Achievement
  • Family Child Care Certificate of Achievement
  • Infants and Toddlers Certificate of Achievement
  • School-Age Certificate of Achievement
