1. A completed International Admission Application
2. Academic plan essay (see below for more information)
3. Transcript from last school attended, sealed by school (recommended)
4. Copy of passport
5. $50.00 USD application fee payable by credit card, check or money order.  Make checks payable to Clark College in U.S. funds.  Please do not send cash.  (If you live outside the United States, there will also be a $30.00 USD courier fee added to your application fee, for a total of $80.00 USD.)
6. Proof of financial support* for one full year of study ($19,000 USD). For each dependent, an additional $3,600 is required.
7. Proof of English language proficiency in one of the following ways (minimum score** or above):
   • TOEFL: 32 (iBT) or 400 (PBT)
   • IELTS: 4
   • STEP-Eiken: Grade 2
   • Successful completion of predetermined course level at partner Intensive English programs:
     • ELS Language Centers (Level 109 Intensive),
     • Kaplan International (High Intermediate), or
     • Vancouver English Centre (Level 11)
     • TALK International (TALK IELTS)

*Note: If financial sponsor resides in the United States, Form I-134 must also be submitted. 

**Note: Minimum scores do not guarantee college-level placement.

Academic Plan Essay (300-500 words):

Please submit a brief explanation of your educational plan and your career goals. How do you plan to achieve these goals? Do you plan to transfer to a four-year university? Do you plan to complete a career-technical degree or certificate? How is attending Clark College going to help you achieve your overall goal?

In addition to the above, you will also need the following:

1. A transfer release form completed and signed by the International Student Advisor in your current school, and
2. A copy of all I-20 forms that have been issued to you.

The Office of International Programs accepts applications year round. If you are already in the U.S. please submit your application at least two weeks before the beginning of the quarter you would like to begin.  If you are outside the U.S., you must apply at least three months before the start of your intended quarter. As soon as we receive your completed application we will notify you to tell you whether or not you have been accepted.
