Creativity & Concept Class, and Drawing classes read below! 9am Creativity & Concept Class - email if you have a question regarding below. If you haven't gone over repetition of form ideas with me yet- email me asap. - Finish head gear and glasses and bring to class (8/24/17) - email a photo of yourself in mask to brosenberg@clark.edu - After making your mask write a page or so in your journal about what influenced your mask. (This is on your handout) - Start construction ( 2 hrs of a 2 week project ) of your repetition of form assignment-knock this project as a grand slam! - Thursday Aug 24 bring in what you have done to date of repetition assignment in actuality, or as pictures on phone - Thursday Aug 24 we will be doing a new assignment - Remember you will turn in journals for review Aug 29. Returned Aug 31. 12 noon Drawing class- One minute object Drawings Sit in one to three areas that is rich with visual information (your room if it has lots of stuff in it, kitchen, living room, garage, library, etc.) Keeping your same spot, find an object you see easily close to you. Make a one minute drawing of it in pencil, and or pen, not lifting up. Still sitting in your spot (you wont get up at all, unless you stop and continue in another place- i.e.- 3 places 20 drawings and 20 minutes each place) find another object in your view close to you. Do a drawing of that for one minute, again keeping your drawing tool on the page the whole time. Several drawings could be done on a sketchbook page, or 60 could be done on one 18 x 24 inch paper. Do this for 60 objects! (One hour) As mentioned do this in your sketchbook, or one large 18 x 24 sheet, if it goes to more large sheets, that’s totally fine! Have fun with this!
