Clark College has renovated the central portion of Gaiser Hall to better serve our students. (Take a live look at the exciting new Gaiser Hall.)
It’s amazing how quickly that constru
ction project on our main campus moved forward. Construction crews began to demolish the old registration offices (now the Clark College bookstore) on Tuesday, December 5, 2006. In the photo on the left, Clark Construction Project Manager Mike Moran (left) and President Bob Knight visited the site just as construction was beginnning.

While construction was underway, a number of student services -- including Financial Aid and Advising -- have been housed in the "T" Building on the west side of Fort Vancouver Way.

Those services are now moving into Gaiser Hall. Most should be in their new offices by mid-May. The new Clark College bookstore proudly opened its new entrance to welcome students on opening day of spring quarter of 2008.

In July 2007, the Vancouver Business Journal cited the work on Gaiser Hall and the college's O'Connell Sports Center as two of their top construction projects for 2007.
