English as a Second Language (ESL) Student

ESL studentsESL students are immigrants or refugees who want to become fluent in reading, writing, listening, and speaking English.

If you are visiting on a student, au pair/exchange, or tourist VISA (F-1, M-1, J-1, B-1 or B-2), please see the International Office.

Clark College deos not require students who are taking ESL classes to provide Social Security Numbers, proof of citizenship, or to identify their national origin.

Steps to Enroll:

  1. Apply for Admissions 

    Apply online at our Admissions webpage.

  2. Choose your classes with an ESL Advisor

    Email the Transitional Studies Office at tssupport@clark.edu or call 360-992-2741 and leave a message with your name and phone number for an appointment.
